What could be better than a summer afternoon ? Well, you could have a summer afternoon at the Culver City Julian Dixon Library with “We Tell Stories.” This Wednesday, July 20 at 2 p.m. have an “Afternoon with Aesop” laughter and wisdom from the Greek Isles, fables used to teach moral values to children.
You remember Aesop- The Tortoise and the Hare, The Fox and the Grapes; sweet little stories with a “moral” at the end. Of course you remember “We Tell Stories,” that wonderful troupe of artists that brings the timeless joy of storytelling to small people. Be there for the fun, and y’know, you might learn something.
You can also sign up for the summer reading program, keep track of how many books you enjoy, and maybe even win a bike! Questions? colapublib.org
