People around here who love to read often lament that there is no bookstore in Culver City. It’s not completely true, as we do have a place to buy books. It appears like Brigadoon out of the mist, only on occasion. On Saturday Feb. 19, The Quarterly Book Sale will fill the front patio of the Julian Dixon Library with an astonishing selection of gently used books, as well as all sorts of other information technology. There will be a huge selection! Art – Biographies- Business- Children’s Books-Classics-Computer -Cooking -Foreign Language-History – Home and Garden- Medical-Music- Mysteries- Novels-Paperbacks-Reference-Textbooks-Religion-Romance-Science Fiction- Self Help- Sports- Audiocassettes CDs DVDs -Videos-Travel and more!
Set-up begins at 7:30 a.m. and teardown is 2:30. All volunteers are welcome!
Donations are always being accepted at the library. Please be sure your books ( or cds or dvds or videos) are clean and well packaged (boxes or bags.) Asking the desk will easily get you a receipt. Color coding is not required.
