The Culver City Democratic Club will be hosting the 2nd Annual Diversity Panel at the meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. Creating an event to help foster dialogue about diversity in Culver City, Bill Wynn, the 2nd vice president of the Democratic Club, offered that last year’s event had been great, and that “this year looks to be even more interesting, and we want to open this up for everyone. That’s what diversity is about. ” Among the speakers featured will be retired Inglewood State Assembly representative Frank Holiman, Busashie Amatokwu, of the U.S. Dept. of Commerce, and Justin Serulneck, independent filmmaker. Other panelists are still waiting to be confirmed.
