Tonight, Wednesday Feb. 10 at the Culver Plaza Theaters in downtown Culver City the 18th Annual Pan Africa Film Festival opens with the film “Blood Done Sign My Name.”
Festival Director Ayuko Babu offered that the festival ‘s operating principle is to showcase the complexity and diversity of black life around the globe.
Babu was quoted in the Los Angeles Times as saying ” We want people to go see our films and walk away having figured out some way to get involved in terms of transforming society.”
