Possible Measles Exposure – DTCC on October 5

The LA County Department of Public Health has posted a notification of possible measles exposure in Culver City on October 5, 2019.

This means that someone who had an active case of measles was present and contagious; if you are have not already had the disease and/or are not vaccinated, you need to know that you are at risk. Measles is an airborne virus that is highly contagious, and maybe be present before any symptoms are noted. It can be lethal for people with compromised immune systems, as well as the elderly and infants.

If you were at ArcLight Cinema on October 5, 2019 between the hours of 5 and 9:30 pm, or at AR Cucina between the hours of 7:30 and 11 pm, you may be at risk. If you think you have been exposed, please contact your health care provider by phone or online before making a visit. Do not go to an urgent care facility or emergency room without notifying them first.
