While Culver City focuses on changing mobility habits, keeping the flow of traffic open is still an ongoing task. Recent updates include a new traffic signal at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Cattaraugus Avenue. The scope of this project also included construction of three new curb ramps, new pedestrian crosswalk, and provision of a left-turn lane from westbound Washington Boulevard onto southbound Sherbourne Avenue.
On the south side of the city, an additional third left-turn/through lane from north-eastbound Jefferson Boulevard onto northbound Sepulveda Boulevard has been completed. This project also included the installation of a new overhanging illuminated sign and traffic signal modification.
