Keep Showing Up! City Hall is the Place

Saturday July 18, at City Hall will see another week of the ongoing protest organized by Indivisible. From 11 am to 12:30 pm, people are encouraged to bring their signs, share their energy and raise their voices. 

“We’re taking a stand against this administration’s cruel, egregious attacks on so much that’s good and just in our country. We will keeping showing up to build community and defend our democracy, and demonstrate our support for due process, Medicare, Social Security, immigrants, women’s rights, LGBTQ+ rights, people with disabilities, science, education and so much more. Bring your family, friends, neighbors, and signs.” 

Indivisible is a national non-profit that wokrs to hold the government accountable. Everyday people are nonviolently standing up across the country – marching in the streets, rallying at capitals, putting their bodies on the line to protect their neighbors from being disappeared, and turning out in historic numbers for off-year elections. 

“A core principle behind all Indivisible events is our commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.”
