If you made it through Northridge, Loma Prieta, Mexico City or even Kobe, you probably have a supply box and a plan. If you don’t, now is the moment to get your emergency kit together. If you worry about earthquakes, tsunamis or other disasters, don’t worry- use that energy to make sure you are prepared. Christine Parra the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator of the Culver City Fire Department, will show us how to create a simple family disaster plan and update your emergency supply kit. A question and answer session will follow. A checklist handout will be distributed for all in attendance. Saturday, April 16 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. at Culver City Julian Dixon Library 4975 Overland Avenue, Culver City. Overflow parking is available next door to the North of the Library at 4909 Overland Avenue.
