Consideration of the Fox Hills Specific Plan, Zoning Code Text Amendment and Zoning Code Map Amendment will be on the agenda at the next Culver City Council meeting on May 26, 2026.
The city has cancelled the May 18 and May 19 meetings that were on the calendar, so May 26 will be the next meeting of the full council. After the final ‘open house’ on April 28, the much-discussed plan will be considered for adoption.
Covering 280 acres of the city, Fox Hills is defined by borders Slauson Avenue to the north, the I-405 freeway to the west, Centinela Avenue to the south, and the city limit to the east.
From the City of Culver City, “The General Plan identifies Fox Hills as a “Special Study Area.” The City requires a Specific Plan to ensure that future development occurs in a coordinated and predictable way, guiding private investment while supporting public goals specific to the Fox Hills neighborhood. The Specific Plan will establish a clear framework for land use, mobility, open space, and infrastructure, providing a unified vision and set of standards.”
