Tonight’s the night; not only will the Summer Sunset Series offer a night of Mariachi music with Mariachi Reyna de Los Angeles and Mariachi Alta California, the Culver Arts Foundation will be introducing out new Artist Laureate, Victoria Marks.
Be there at 6 pm for the ‘opening act’ and find out about how our newest Laureate, Choreographer Victoria Marks, will be using her art form with the Culver City community. Mariachi music will start at 7pm, and you know there will be dancing!
Mariachi Reyna de Los Angeles is the first all-female mariachi band. Starting in 1994, the group has recorded three albums and is in high demand throughout the Southland.
Mariachi Alta California brings together seven outstanding musicians from Venice, and has a party style that will keep your feet moving.
Come early to Town Plaza at the Culver Steps. The free, family friendly series will run every Thursday evening until August 28th.
