At the June 14, 2022 Board of Education meeting, the CCUSD Board filled the seats on the Community Budget Advisory Committee from “a pool of highly qualified candidates.” The Board appointed six community members to serve a two-year term on the CBAC – Patricia Halloran (music supervisor for film, TV, )Howard Klung (Director, Revenue Capture for UCLA Health,) Denise Lemons (project manager,) Jennifer Metz, MPH (public health project manager,)Seth Rosenzweig (nonprofit management executive, ) and Carolyn Libuser (retired banking executive and finance teacher.)
The Community Budget Advisory Committee (CBAC) is a group of dedicated individuals who learn about, and stay abreast of, school district finances. This committee makes recommendations to the Board of Education on a variety of budgeting and fiscal matters. Committee members also share their knowledge and insight throughout the community. CBAC is comprised of community representatives, District administrators and bargaining unit employees.
