Mark Your Ballot – Bryan For 54th Assembly

It’s a quiet election day, but it’s still election day, and we are proud to endorse Issac Bryan for the special election to fill the seat for the 54th Assembly District.

Having listened to Bryan at several candidate forums, we were impressed with his depth of both knowledge and commitment. He’s been endorsed by Congressmember Karen Bass, by Los Angeles County Supervisor Holly Mitchell, and State Senator Sydney Kamlager. He is also endorsed by the Heart of LA Democratic Club and the Culver City Democratic Club.

In a field of five candidates for the seat, he is far and away the best choice. The 54th Assembly District covers ground from Culver City, Palms, Mid-City, West Adams, Crenshaw, Baldwin Hills, Ladera Heights, Leimert Park, Jefferson Park, West LA, Westwood, and Century City; that’s a large chunk of the creative economy of California.

Bryan offers “I have the experience and track record of success we need to not just talk the talk, but to do the work needed to fundamentally improve the lives of millions of Californians who have been left behind. I’ve lived it, I’ve organized around it, I’ve built diverse coalitions, and I’ve led historic reforms to help bridge the gap between inequity and opportunity.”
