Culver City High School yearbook photographer Bertrand Edwards has been awarded an Honorable Mention in the Walsworth Yearbooks Photo Competition for an action photo of Ellie O’Driscoll Amador during a swim meet. In a national photo competition where 6,373 photos were submitted, and 2,056 of them in the sports action category, CCHS and the yearbook staff is so proud of Bertrand!
“Bertrand started as a photographer in the yearbook class last year, and stepped up to Photo Editor this year,” said yearbook adviser Susana Fattorini. “His photography continues to inspire other students, and due, in part, to George Laase’s generous mentorship, plans on pursuing sports photography after high school. He is photographing his first professional soccer game next month!”
