It seems a likely paring – Neuroscience and leadership go together like salt and pepper. Beyond the campus in Culver City at Corporate Pointe, Antioch University offers continuing education to the whole community. On Thursday, May 9, at 12pm, Antioch will host a facilitated conversation followed by Q&A with Management faculty Geoffrey VanderPal, and Randy Brazie, co-authors of The Steadfast Leader.
The authors will share how practical, cutting-edge neuroscientific concepts can help leaders make better decisions for themselves, their teams, and their organizations. A specific focus will be on how an understanding of one’s autonomic state helps to reduce implicit bias and unconscious discrimination in managerial decision-making related to recruiting, hiring, staffing, and promoting.
