The Culver City Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department is replacing El Marino’s playground for 2 to 5 year olds, and we want to hear from you! Join us at a community meeting on Tuesday, April 23rd, from 6:30-8 PM to discuss design options for the new playground.
The aging playground structure at El Marino Park is closed and ready for replacement. Parks, Recreation & Community Services will use this opportunity to not only replace and upgrade the existing equipment, but also add in several new sensory and accessible elements to provide a more equitable space for all to enjoy.
There are some preliminary plans and costs ready for community input. The community meeting will be held in the El Marino Park building about potential design elements for the new playground.
The project website will provide a survey soon asking for feedback if you are not able to attend the community meeting.
El Marino Park is located at 5301 Berryman Ave, Culver City, CA 90232. For more information, please email Dani Cullens, Parks, Recreation and Community Services Manager or call her at (310) 253-6471.
