On Sunday, March 23, 2024, the Culver City Fire Department sent all units to respond to a structure fire at 12110 Washington Place. The single story commercial building was in flames at approximately 1 pm, but the fire was quickly contained and extinguished.
Culver City Fire Department Battalion Chief Seth Miller stated ‘We had all units respond to a structure fire to a unit under construction in Washington, and we were able to stop it from spreading into the auto repair shop next door.”
LAFD also responded, as the area is one where both cities have services connected; Culver City and Los Angeles are just feet apart.
Miller noted “The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by CCFD Fire Prevention Specialist Noah Piechowski, and we will be following up when we have more information available.”
