The Culver City Council will be presenting a proclamation at tonight’s meeting on Feb. 26, 2024 to commemorate 60 years of Sister City connection with Urupan, Mexico.
The delegation from Urupan has been visiting this past weekend, enjoying Culver City and Los Angeles, chaperoned by the Culver City Sister City Committee.
From their social media, the committee offered that “The J.Paul Getty Villa is always a highlight. The Lake Shrine [was] peaceful. Jackson Market screams Culver City delicious. The Griffith Observatory iconic and dinner will be in the Culver City Arts District.”
There will be a Live Folklorico performance, refreshments included, on Monday February 26, 2024, in the Rotunda room at Culver City Veterans Building from 3:30 pm until 5:30 pm.
