Sonali Kolhatkar, award-winning journalist and host and executive producer of weekly radio and television program “Rising Up with Sonali,” is the next guest in our series “The Political Mandate of the Arts.” She is also the racial justice and civil liberties editor at YES! Magazine and Senior Correspondent of the “Economy for All” project at the Independent Media Institute. Sonali is the author of Rising Up: The Power of Narrative in Pursuing Racial Justice (San Francisco: City Lights Books, 2023).
