CC Symphony @ MdR to Present Film Music – July 27

The second Summer Concert, the Summer Symphony will once again be joined by the SoCAL Chorale to present a magical “Film Music Night at the Shore” with Ukrainian-born guest conductor, Maxim Kuzin and featured vocal and instrumental soloists including Delicia Smith, soprano, and Michael Scott Harris, tenor.

The family friendly concert will include music from The Bodyguard (I Will Always Love You), La La Land, the Pink Panther, Amistad, The Godfather, Schindler’s List, Dr. No, and Disney hits Aladdin, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, and The Little Mermaid. A Tribute to John Williams will feature a medley of his many beautiful scores. Visuals from the movies will be shown on the big screens. A special presentation of The Prayer will be accompanied by an edited version of a video created in Ukraine for the nation’s Independence Day as a tribute to the fortitude of the Ukrainian people.

Bring your picnic, a blanket, and a jacket (the ocean breeze can be quite cool once the sun goes down) and join us for a Symphonic Thursday evening under the stars.

Admission to this concert is FREE – no tickets required

Seating is festival-style, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
