Chess Club rocked it on The Today Show on Thursday, May 18, 2023 (today!) as the 80-strong lunchtime club was featured in a morning news segment on the increasing popularity of chess among young people: School of Rook.
The national news coverage is a result of CCHS Junior Jonathan Kim’s LA Times High School Insider column: Chess Fever Has Arrived at Culver High School.
