Culver City Mayor Dr. Daniel Lee will host an engaging evening of roundtable conversation among neighbors on Thursday, September 15 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Topics will include sustainability & the environment, equity & inclusion, housing & homelessness, public safety, and the future of Culver City. Come prepared to share, listen, and learn more about each other. There will also be entertainment and refreshments.
It’s become a tradition in recent years for mayors to offer new venues and formats for the ‘State of the City’ and Mayor Dr. Daniel Lee has chosen a ‘World Cafe’ format at a new location, Culver City Middle School. Lee offered ” I chose the world cafe format to encourage and facilitate conversation between community members who share divergent viewpoints in the hopes of creating greater understanding in our community.”
The meeting will take place in the Culver City Middle School Cafeteria (4601 Elenda Street, Culver City, CA 90230). Enter through Culver City Middle School and follow signage to the cafeteria.
The City will provide free childcare during this event for children ages 5 and up. Advanced registration is required. Please visit the childcare registration page for more details and to register each child.
