The Culver Speech and Debate team had a great day at the Individual Events Qualifying Tournament for the Western Bay Forensics League on March 5!
Emi Sakamoto became league champion in Original Advocacy. Michele Zhou took second place in Oratorical Interpretation. Ariana Moss took third place in Dramatic Interpretation.
All three will advance to the State Championships.
In addition, Ada Meighan-Thiel made it through the toughest competition of the day to become the Second Alternate to the state competition in Informative Speaking.
