Vaccinations for 5 to 11 Year Olds Get State and Local Approval

After Pfizer’s pediatric COVID-19 vaccine received unanimous authorization from federal regulators, California is now vaccinating children between the ages of 5 and 11. The Culver City Unified School District will offer a clinic for students on Nov. 20, 2012.

“Ten vaccines have been required to send your kids to school for decades and decades — this is nothing new,” Governor Newsom said after receiving a Moderna booster shot at a news conference earlier this month. California support everyone being vaccinated as the best means of preventing the spread of Covid, and now all school age children are approved.

In response to the interest expressed by many of local families, the Culver City Unified School District, in partnership with the LA County Department of Public Health, is hosting a COVID-19 vaccine clinic for students ages 5-11. The clinic will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Saturday, November 20 at Farragut Elementary School. Parking is available in the Elenda lot. Please enter at the front of the school.
