Approved by Los Angeles County voters in March 2017, Measure H is a ¼-cent sales tax over 10 years to carry out the most comprehensive action plan ever undertaken to address homelessness countywide. To date, Measure H funding has been used to help house more than 26,000 men, women and children, and to shelter more than 48,000 people.

The Los Angeles County Homeless Initiative oversees the implementation of these strategies in collaboration with County departments, City governments, nonprofit homeless service providers, community and faith groups, and other partners. The strategies strengthen the County’s social safety net to serve our most vulnerable residents.
