Culver City Fire Dept. Opens Community Connect; Your Input is Needed

The intersection between the real world and life online can be a crucial one. The Culver City Fire Department is opening a new online portal to help them out with information could be essential in an emergency.

When a 911 call goes out, knowing who is in need and where they are is vital to the first responders. This project is about getting this information online for those who would need to access it in a crisis.

From FD Chief Ken Powell, ” We are always looking for ways to better serve the Culver City community. For this reason we are rolling out a new program to protect our residents and their property in the most effective way possible.

“Community Connect is a free, secure, and easy to use platform that allows you to share critical information about your household that will aid Culver City Fire Department first responders when responding to your residence. By providing information about your household that you feel is important for us to know about at the time of an emergency, we can ensure you and everything you care about is protected to the best of our ability.”
