On February 19th at 7 pm, AVPA Take Ten Films proudly presents our Winter Showcase, which will be livestreamed on our own Take Ten Films’ YouTube Channel.
27 of the 28 short films were made during this school year and are a compilation of two of our most recent film challenges: The Original Score Challenge where filmmakers were tasked to create visuals for the original compositions written by AVPA Music students, and the The Color Challenge, films inspired by a color which was randomly assigned to each student.
As our students have not been able to work in film crews, the vast majority of these films were conceptualized, shot, and edited by a sole filmmaker. The films range anywhere between 1-5 minutes and the showcase’s runtime will be about one hour.
A Q&A with several of the directors will immediately follow the screening. In lieu of a movie ticket, we are asking for voluntary, pay-what-you-can donations via Givebutter (click here at/givebutter.com/filmwintershowcase).
