The third guest for the Wende Online’s Art-Past-Present program, co-hosted by Farrah Karapetian, is Ira Eduardovna, a New York-based video artist who grew up in Soviet Uzbekistan and Israel.
In her work, she playfully deconstructs the process of personal and collective recollection, often reflecting on television as a medium that frames our understanding of the world. Farrah and Wende Curator Joes Segal will speak with her about memory and place, tracing history, and the epistemological significance of game shows.
