On September 26, 2020, at approximately 2 pm, Culver City Police Officers received a radio call regarding a shooting victim in the 4100 Block of Grand View Boulevard.
Officers arrived and met with the victim, who told the Officers, while she was walking her dog on Grand View Boulevard, a male and female pulled alongside her in a vehicle, and an argument ensued. The female exited the car when a physical altercation followed between the victim and the female. During the fight, the male suspect approached the victim, pulled a silver revolver from his waistband, and pulled the trigger several times, but the firearm did not discharge.
Culver City Detectives assigned to the case were able to identify the suspect and obtained a search warrant and an arrest warrant.
On September 30, 2020, Detectives served that warrant where the suspect was apprehended without incident and a loaded firearm was recovered.
The case will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for filing considerations.
