The Culver City Education Foundation presents SIP for our Schools 2020, a virtual happy hour fundraising event.
Prepare to SIP – “Socialize in Place” as we enjoy sipping wine while supporting our students by raising critically needed funding to sustain impactful educational programs.
On Saturday, September 26, join us online from the comfort of your own home to enjoy a live wine tasting adventure as well as updates on how your donations are making an impact in our schools, visits from special celebrity guests, a silent auction, and much more….
The wine tasting experience includes a box of 6 tasting bottles which will be distributed prior to the event, featuring a selection of wines curated from small to medium-sized wineries from the world’s best wine regions. An expert wine sommelier will lead the tasting via live stream while you learn the exciting stories behind each wine and winery.
Following the tasting program, there will be an opportunity to enjoy special cooking demonstrations by three award winning chefs who are part of the Culver City community, from the acclaimed Los Angeles restaurants Mayura, Kali, and Border Grill.
This event raises critically needed funds to sustain vital arts and STEM education programs benefiting every student at every CCUSD school. Programs such as Makerspaces, visual arts classes, the Front & Center Theatre collaborative, Robotics teams, and more are only possible with your generous support.
