Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey is planning a few plates for Culver City; specifically, the Culver Steps. GRNA (Gordon Ramsay North America) Culver City LLC has filed for a Conditional Use Permit for a 7,541-square-foot restaurant space at the Culver Steps in the heart of downtown. Ramsay, whose fame was greatly bolstered by the TV series “Hell’s Kitchen” has put his name to several major restaurants chains operating globally, and is looking to expand by as many as a dozen locations in the greater Los Angeles area.

Ramsey has already opened, and closed a restaurant in Los Angeles, The Fat Cow, which operated from 2012 to 2014.

In June of 2019 Forbes reported that Gordon Ramsay North America (GRNA) hopes to open 100 new locations across the U.S. by 2024. Three GRNA chains are expected to proliferate across the American restaurant scene –  Gordon Ramsay Steak, Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill, and Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips.

Which, if any, of these entities is scheduled for Culver City is still unknown. With the style and status of the Culver Steps, there may even be a unique restaurant flying the Ramsay flag.
