At the May 12, 2020 Board Meeting, the CCUSD Governing Board passed a Memorandum of Understanding that was collectively created and supported in partnership by the Association of Classified Employees (ACE), the Culver City Federation of Teachers (CCFT) and the Management Association of Culver City Schools.
This memorandum serves as a commitment to our Office of Child Development staff and program that was in peril of layoffs due to the COVID 19 school closures. Additionally, child care programs across the state are still in danger of closing due to the lack of financial support offered by the state. The Office of Child Development Parent Advisory Committee asks that the community send letters of advocacy to the California legislation or sign a petition of support.
