TEDxCulverCity will take place on the 31st of March 2020 at the historic Culver Hotel from 7:00pm-9:00pm. The independently organized event, licensed by TED, will feature local voices and TED talks under the theme of “A Brighter Future.”
Five local captivating speakers are preparing to invigorate your minds with provocative talks on topics such as innovations in cancer, creating a regenerative society, timefulness, and rethinking modern masculinity. The talks will challenge us to ask the question— how can we break away from conventional norms and re-examine the world around us for a better tomorrow?
This is a public event with 100 available tickets at $50, which can be purchased through our website at TEDxCulverCity.com. Tickets will be available starting on February 5th, 2020. Snacks, refreshments, and a cash bar will be available.
For those unfamiliar with TED, it started as a small nonprofit, in 1984, bringing people together to share “Ideas Worth Spreading” from three disciplines – Technology, Entertainment, and Design. These ideas are shared in the form of a story or “TED Talk”, which last a maximum of 18 minutes. Since its inception, TED conferences have included speakers like Bill Gates, Jane Goodall, and Quincy Jones who have spoken alongside athletes and grass-root musicians.
