Rent Control – City Posts Guidelines for Landlord Petition Process

The Community Development Director Sol Blumenfeld has issued Interim Rent Control Measures Guideline/Rule No. 2019-02 regarding the landlord petition hearing process. This guideline clarifies the process for review, analysis, and decision making regarding a landlord’s petition to the City to increase rent beyond the cap established by the Interim Rent Control Ordinance.
