The La Ballona Lions have a new addition to the family, and they would like to invite the community in for a special event – The La Ballona Lion Sculpture Dedication/Unveiling/Naming will take place at 5 pm on Sept. 5, 2019.
The La Ballona Elementary PTA will be honoring the Ruth D. Ewing family for creating the Arts Fund that made both the lion and the mosaic possible. We will also have the lion sculpture artist, Gonzalo Duran and mosaic artist, Tabitha Fronk in attendance.
Gonzalo will announce the student winner of the lion-naming contest.
