Thinking about the new year, connecting with family and friends, getting in the best shape of your life, or reconnecting with nature? January is the best time to take stock, assess your priorities, envision the life you want, and become the best version of yourself.
Here’s a great way to get started: Join the West Los Angeles Sierra Club at 7 pm, Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Vet’s Auditorium in Culver City for a free presentation entitled “Diet, Environment, Microbiome, and Health” with UCLA Professor and nutrition guru, Dr. Zhaoping Li. Dr. Li will talk about what science is teaching us about the many benefits of a plant-based diet. She will also discuss how industrialization changes the fine balance of diet, microbiome and our health. This change is not only bad for human health but also for the health of the planet.
