Culver City will offer residents a special program of Holiday Tree Recycling – Thursday, December 26th, 2016 through Saturday, January 31, 2017. You can ‘park your tree’ by bringing your used Christmas tree to a nearby park, where there will be a bin to deposit it for ‘tree-cycling’ Please consider how you and your family can reduce, reuse, and recycle in your home this holiday season.
Below are a few simple steps toward keeping holiday waste out of the landfill. Please use the following tips as a guide when disposing of holiday garbage, trees, and recyclable material.
All homes, duplexes, apartment buildings, and condominiums will have a chance to PARK their TREE. Fox Hills Park, Syd Kronenthal, Culver West Park and Veterans Park will have a bin available to drop off your tree from December 26, 2016-January 31, 2017. Residents can also cut up their tree and place in the green waste bin for pickup on their regular refuse and recycling service day.
