I’m writing to you because you have kids at Culver City Middle School, or had them, or will have them… or because you’re supportive of the Culver City community generally. Have I ever told you how fabulous you are?
So I’m asking: do you have five dollars to spare? Because even five dollars will make a difference.
Panther Partners of CCMS (our booster club) and the CCMS PTSA are holding a year-end fundraising drive to purchase audio systems to improve the learning environment at Culver City Middle School. If you can believe it, most classrooms are only equipped with small computer speakers, making it difficult for students to hear instructional media. When Culver City Middle School teachers were asked what the parent community could do to help out, improved classroom audio came out at the top of the list. The school and school district enthusiastically support this effort.
We have a crowdfunding campaign set up online at https://www.youcaring.com/ccmsclassroomaudio. I’d appreciate it if you’d consider making a tax-deductible donation so that every student can hear their lessons clearly. No matter how much you can contribute – $5, $50, or $500 – your generosity is greatly appreciated.
While you’re on the site, please “share” this campaign with your friends on Facebook and Twitter or by email. We’re hoping to raise $8,000 before the end of 2016. Helping get the word out will help us achieve our goal. Thanks.
Yours,
Scott Malsin
