The Culver City Historical Society Archives will be open this Sunday December 4 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. to celebrate the holidays, our city’s centennial, and the book that tells the tale. Julie Lugo Cerra, esteemed author of the newly published Culver City, California: The First Hundred Years, will be signing copies. Besides this book, there will be two “limited edition” products celebrating the centennial. The historic sites ‘throw’ has been redesigned to highlight 100 years and will be available in the three blanket colors of yesteryear – cranberry, forest green, and navy. There is also a new centennial coffee mug to keep your beverage of choice warm. A complimentary, specially-designed gift wrap will be available that afternoon, along with shipping services on items purchased.
The CC Historical Society Archives are located in the back of the Vets Memorial Building, next to the Parks and Recreation offices.
