Sony to Host Veterans Writing Workshop Presentation with USVAA

cc_writing_workshopIn honor of our nation’s veterans and Veterans Day 2016, Sony Pictures Entertainment will join the USVAA Veterans Writing Workshop for the New Works Presentation at the extraordinary Burt Lancaster Theater on the Sony Pictures Entertainment lot at 7 p.m., Wednesday, November 9th.

The USVAA New Works program is a staged presentation of eight scenes and selected readings from television and movie scripts, novels and memoirs written by veterans participating in our monthly writers’ workshop. They will be performed and directed by accomplished actors and directors within the entertainment industry. The performance will be followed by an audience Q&A and a reception at the theater.

Program Directed by David Fofi with Gary Blumsack, Sam Wolfson and Timothy Wurtz. Cast members include Richard Chaves, Gary Cole, Lorna Duyn, Heidi Brook Myers, Skip Pipo, Christopher Sweeney, Mark Valley and others to be announced.
