If you are like most Culver Citizens, you probably stick pretty close to home, and with such great choices for food and entertainment, who wouldn’t? But getting to know the other parts of Culver City can open up even more great stuff. Culver City’s Washington West Business District will be hosting the second annual Taste of Washington West on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 3 – 6 PM. The event will feature a variety special tastings and drink specials from ten area restaurants hailed by LA Eater as “the most compelling restaurant row in this part of town.” The event will include live entertainment, including the El Marino Language School Rainbow Taiko drummers, Brasil Brasil’s Capoeira Batuque Live Drumming, music by Super Ultra Megatones, jazz tunes with Ohayo Good, and a chef talk with Chocovivo’s Patricia Tsai ( pictured above) . There will also be fitness, Pilates and yoga demonstrations at Kinesis, canvas painting at Art Printer and local artists and vendors displaying their work.
The event is generally centered along West Washington Blvd. between Centinela Avenue and Wade Street. Guests are encouraged to bike, walk, or carpool to the event and avoid parking in the adjacent residential areas.
