Public Bike’s Go PUBLIC Rides come to Culver City! Meet at Public Bikes in Santa Monica at 11 and ride the new Expo Path all the way to Culver City. There you will receive a free treat from the Helms Bakery Truck and our Kids Bike Skills Workshop! Plus, we’ll have free t-shirts for the kids!
Once you arrive at Helms Bakery, you’ll receive a FREE Helms Bakery cookie (for registered riders) and discounts at the Lets Be Frank Hot Dog truck. We are also excited to have Walk ‘n Rollers provide a FREE Kid’s Bike Skills Workshop on Helms Avenue, including a short obstacle course designed to teach kids the essentials of bicycle safety in a controlled environment and begin the conversation of walking and biking to school.
This will be a 6-7 mile ride one-way, so if you find yourself a bit exhausted after the ride, you can always head back to the westside on the Metro Expo Line located just one block west of our campus. This ride is fun for most ages (8 and up, younger recommended to ride with a parent). BYOB (Bring Your Own Bike) or hop on a Breeze bike on Ashland Avenue, one block from the PUBLIC Bikes store. Meet at PUBLIC Bikes Santa Monica @11am and be sure to eat a light breakfast!!!
