The Culver City Woman’s Club made a very generous donation to the Culver-Palms YMCA Summer Camp scholarships from the proceeds of their Spring Fiesta Fundraiser in March. The presentation of the check was made at the Woman’s Club monthly meeting. The Culver City Woman’s Club is having their Annual Ice Cream Social on Saturday, June 11, 2016, from 12:30PM until 3:30PM, at the Culver-Palms United Methodist Church Social Hall, 4464 Sepulveda Blvd., Culver City. There will be Ice Cream Sundaes, Banana Splits, Homemade Cookies, and entertainment by magician Fantastic Fig with Newton the Cat, “America’s Got Talent” winner. All proceeds will benefit the Sandy Segal Youth Health Center. Tickets are $10.00 for age 13 and up, and $5.00 for children age 3 to 12; there is no charge for children under 3.
