Community Connection – Reconnecting Online

online bill paying seniorThrough the magic of the internet, finding old friends and making new ones, can be just a few clicks away.  Culver City resident Nancy Spear will be conducting the “Connecting and Reconnecting Online” workshop this Saturday, Jan. 23, at 1pm and 2:30pm, at the Santa Monica Library.

The workshop is part of a 3-part series “Wellbeing: A Journey Into Aging” organized by the City of Santa Monica and the Older Adult Task Force.

Nancy started her business, Nancy’s Tech Help for Older Adults, when she realized there was a need for one-on-one, patient instruction for older adults learning how to use their cell phones, tablets, and computers. She works with Macs and PCs; iPhones and androids; Kindles and other tablets.

Each session will run twice so attendees can participate in both workshops. Registration will be in the courtyard area near the entrance to the MLK, Jr. Auditorium and library. Street parking is available, as well as parking in the library parking structure Pre-registration is not required.
