Club youth volleyball administrator Marty Siegal, a retired teacher and coach at Culver City High School and Culver City Middle School, provides this recap of the summer’s last club volleyball tournament:
On June 26 thru June 29th Culver VBC competed in one of the biggest youth volleyball tournaments in Southern California. CVBC sent six teams with ages ranging from 12 – 16 years of age into the Summer Soiree held in Anaheim. with over 450 teams entered CVBC ended the club season on a very high note. 12 – Eric finished the tournament in 5th place out of 57 teams. 13-Tanner won the flight division out of 70 teams. 16-Tanner finished in 3rd place in a division that consisted of 81 teams. 14-Amanda finished the tournament in 12th place. 15-Marty finished in 8th place in the silver division which consisted of 83 teams and 16-Joe finished in 5th place in the flight division out of 81 teams.
Now that the Club season is over CVBC is looking forward to putting on it’s Beach Camps and Indoor Camps.
