Culver City Public Works Offers Free Compost! (You Just Gotta Haul it Home)

compost_heart wwwWe’re doing it again! Culver City Public Works with American Organics is holding another compost giveaway event in the parking lot adjacent to the Bone Yard Dog Park. Come to Bill Botts Baseball Field and Playground 9710 Jefferson Blvd, Culver City, 90232 on Saturday May 16, 2015 from 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. or until gone.

This is a self-haul event so bring a shovel – residents are responsible for shoveling and bagging their own compost. Compost is ready to go, but recommended to be mixed together with topsoil or another gardening fill. For best growing results, a 60/40 split (60% topsoil and 40% compost) is recommended.

American Organics, where every day is Earth Day!
