Join MCLM for the second installment in Tariq Nasheed’s controversial Hidden Colors series. Hidden Colors 2: The Triumph of Melanin delves further into the color barrier and examines Africa in a global and economic realm. The film features a segment investigating the pigment melanin and also covers the injustices within the prison industrial complex, a topic relevant to us currently in California.
Nasheed’s documentaries have all been funded independently through Kickstarter, with each film in the series acquiring more funding and success then the one before it. Experience the thought provoking film at the MCLM, which will be hosted by Executive Director Lloyd Clayton with a discussion lead by Les Wills immediately following the screening.
Screening is FREE! April 25 at 4 pm
