Young Storytellers will present its fourth annual special event, The Glee Big Show, at 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 21 at the Willows Community School at 8509 Higuera Street in Culver City. At the event, actors from the cast of GLEE will perform stories written by students in the ‘Script to Stage’ program.
Out of more than 800 scripts written last year, Young Storytellers have chosen four stories for this special event, including that of Kathleen Rodriguez from CCUSD.
The Young Storytellers Foundation develops literacy through the art of storytelling. Using group exercises and one-on-one mentoring, we provide under-served children in the public school system an opportunity to write stories and see them brought to life through live performance or film production.
