Transition to Offer Fruit Tree Pruning Demo

dreamstime_14494971Transition Culver City will be hosting a fruit tree pruning demonstration workshop with Consulting Arborist and Landscape Architect Pieter Severynen. Pieter has been pruning fruit trees and talking about them for 50 years; he works as an independent consultant.

Sunday Feb 22, 12:30-3:00 pm in the front yard orchard at 10784/10786 Northgate Street, Culver City, 90230, at the intersection with Overland Avenue, just south of the West Los Angeles College campus.

What takes place underground.
Good and bad horticultural practices.
Long term maintenance during drought. Questions are encouraged.
