  1. The Backpacks for Kids program is currently supplying an average of 70 backpacks each week to students and families of our Culver City students who may not have food on the weekends. The students come from all over the district and represent all five of the elementary schools, the middle school, the high school, and the Office of Child Development pre-school. In other words, each of our school sites has students and families in need.

If you would like to make a monetary donation instead of food, you can send a check to the Culver City Council PTA (or CCCPTA), put Backpacks in the memo. All donations go directly to support the backpack program. Checks can be mailed to:
    CCCPTA
    4034 Irving Place
    Culver City, CA 90232

If you can’t make it to Pavilions this weekend, we are collecting food at front office at each school, the Senior Center, City Hall (lobby opposite the elevator), the Police Department, any CC Fire Station. Our last scheduled pick up is Wednesday, Dec. 17th.

Thank you for helping our students. After all, a hungry student can’t focus and take full advantage of our wonderful schools.
