If you’ve ever been enthusiastic about the thought of drawing cartoons, but dismissed it as a silly idea then this is for you. Ask any kindergarten class if anyone can draw and they will all raise their hands with excitement. Ask a group of 20-year-olds the same question and only one or two hands will go up.
What happened? Somewhere between the ages of 5 and 20 we became obsessed with comparing ourselves to others. When it appeared that we couldn’t draw as well as someone else, we told ourselves we couldn’t draw at all. Wait, this is great news! It proves that it’s all in our head.
Your ability is not the problem. It’s only your belief about your ability. It is just a bad mental habit that makes us overly self-conscious. This class will help you to break that habit and unleash your creative potential.
Darrell Fusaro, cartoonist and author of “What If Godzilla Just Wanted a Hug? Leading with the Heart Instead of the Chin”, shares everything he uses to ignore the critical mind, trust intuition and create spontaneously. Sign up for this class and regain your kindergarten confidence! If you have a sketchpad bring it. If not, a scrap paper will be provided.
